New York Rangers View from My Seat

Welcome to my blog post about the New York Rangers View from My Seat! Here, I will be providing detailed information about what fans can expect when they attend a Rangers game at Madison Square Garden. Specifically, I will be discussing the view from my seat in Section 111, Row 8.

As you can see from the photo above, my seat is located on the aisle in the middle of the section. This is a great location because it provides an unobstructed view of both ends of the ice. Additionally, there are only 7 rows in this section, so even if someone were to stand up in front of me, it would not block my view.

One downside of this seat, however, is that it is located directly behind one of the goal posts. This means that if a Ranger player scores a goal on this end of the ice, I will not have a direct view of it. However, I will still be able to see the celebration and hear all of the excitement from other fans around me!

In 1879, P. T. Barnum leased Madison Square Garden for $75,000 a year in order to stage his “Greatest Show on Earth” circus. The three-ring circus was a huge success, and it wasn’t long before other promoters began leasing the Garden to hold their own events. In time, the Garden became known as “The Mecca of Boxing” because of the number of high-profile boxing matches that were staged there.

Some of the most famous boxers in history, including Jack Dempsey, Muhammad Ali, and Joe Frazier, fought at Madison Square Garden. In 1968, the New York Knicks basketball team made Madison Square Garden their home court. The Knicks went on to win two NBA Championships while playing at the Garden (1970 and 1973), and it remains one of the most iconic venues in basketball today.

Other sports teams have also called Madison Square Garden home over the years, including the New York Rangers hockey team and the New York Liberty women’s basketball team. In addition to being a popular sporting venue, Madison Square Garden has also played host to some of the biggest names in music over the years. Everyone from Elvis Presley to Led Zeppelin to Madonna has performed at MSG, and it is widely considered one of THE places to play if you’re a musician looking to make a big impact in New York City.
